If you do any kind of crafts at all, or if you have children, you have craft supplies. Paper, pencil crayons, markers, glue, glitter, pipe cleaners, popsicle sticks… they are all the sort of things that end up everywhere. All over the house, yet you can’t find them when you want them. Adult art and crafts have as many, if not more, supplies; they’re just more expensive.
Gather them together in a centre. If you have a room or a desk that can do the job, that’s wonderful. If not, consider getting a plastic drawer unit.
If you have a lot of supplies, a rolling unit is great. If not, a smaller one with three or four drawers may do.
They hold a lot, are leakproof (in case the glue or glitter spills,) are easy to label, fit in a closet, and can travel to your current craft area, whether it is a bedroom or the kitchen table. They are also fairly inexpensive and are available at many different stores. If your crafty kids are home for the summer, set one up right away. It will save you a lot of headaches.
