It’s not easy to find cleaning products that clean well. smell good, and aren’t harmful to people or the environment. Well, it used to be hard. I find these products do the trick:
- baking (or washing) soda is inexpensive and scrubs away all kinds of stains
- white vinegar kills germs, great for wiping kitchen surfaces or doorknobs, and is a laundry softener
- for specific needs (wood floors, stainless steel, granite,) I find Method cleaners are wonderful
- microfibre cloths are the answer for dusting, polishing glass and shiny surfaces, and getting off fingerprints
Even though they are not toxic, they should be stored out of the reach of children. They smell good enough to eat- or drink- and they wouldn’t do a child any good.
